What is a rainbow? (Textbook Pg. 97)

       When light and water meet in the sky, a rainbow appears. It appears during a drizzle when the sun is shining and contains raindrops.

        The rainbow is divided into bands. It has seven colours. They are red,orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. The outer band is red and the inner band is violet.

        The rainbow disappears when the sun is away or the air is dry. It usually lasts for a while.
